Timothy Sparks

Timothy Richard Sparks, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2025, in Bell, Florida. Born on March 25, 1987, in Gainesville, Florida, Timothy lived a life characterized by kindness, compassion, and an unwavering willingness to help others. He was a man who never met a stranger, always treating everyone with respect, regardless of the circumstances.

Timothy cherished spending time with his family and held a special bond with his son, Tristan. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him, and he found profound joy in the simple pleasures of life spent surrounded by those he loved.

In addition to his family, Timothy was passionate about the outdoors, often seeking inspiration in nature. He had a creative spirit that found expression in drawing and poetry, while also showcasing his craftsmanship through woodworking. Timothy also had a soft spot for his dogs who will miss him deeply.

His legacy of kindness and respect for others will linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. Timothy leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever and a reminder of the light he brought into the world. His warmth and generosity will be missed by all.

Timothy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Betty Sparks and Betty and John Hodge Sr.; his aunts Linda Teague and Sherry Careccia; his uncle Mitch Hodge; and his cousin Charles Wilburn.

Timothy is survived by his son, Tristan Sparks of Keystone; Tristan’s mother Jenn Kirkland (Brad); his father, Timothy Sparks (Vicki) of Bell; and his mother Carlene Rhoden of Fanning Springs; and his siblings Nancy Edwards, Tony Edwards, Kathleen Luce and Jessica Davis.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember Timothy will be held on Tuesday, June 17th at Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton at 2:00 PM. Family invites friends for a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Timothy will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Joppa Baptist Church Cemetery.
