Stephanie Wachter

Stephanie Wachter passed away on October 19, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on November 12, 1946, in Perth Boy, New Jersey. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and held a special place in the hearts of her family.

Stephanie shared her life with her husband, Robert Schwab. Together they raised their sons, Jeffery(Stephanie) Schwab and David Schwab. She is also survived by her brother, John(Janet) Wachter. Her family circle also includes her grandson, Maieryn Schwab, whose life stands as part of her enduring legacy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Kudrick, and her father, Michael Wachter. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Wachter; her sister, Elizabeth Wachter; her favorite aunt, Lovey Hungerford; and her nephew, Christopher Ingstrup.

Stephanie’s life was deeply rooted in family, and her memory will continue in the lives of those who loved her. May her loved ones find comfort in the bond they shared with her and in the lasting presence of her memory.
