Patricia Alberta “Bert” Linton Fuller, age 84, of Bell, Florida, went to be with Jesus on January 16, 2026, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on December 16, 1941, in Plant City, Florida, to J.C. and Katherine Linton.
Bert was a beloved sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and a 1959 graduate of Plant City High School. In 1963, after moving to Clearwater, Florida, she met the love of her life, Thomas Bridgers Fuller, while out dancing with her girlfriends.
Bert was known for her special ability to work with students. She dedicated 17 years of her life as a Teacher’s Aide in Hillsborough County Schools, where she made a positive impact on every child she encountered. In addition to working in the school system, she was a housewife who enjoyed cooking, reading, playing Bunco and Bingo, and was an avid Scrabble player. Later in life, she spent the majority of her time spoiling her grandkids. To her grandchildren and many others throughout the community, she was lovingly known as “Nannie.”
Bert was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years, Thomas Bridgers Fuller; and her sister, Florence Jordan.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Fuller and Pamela (Lyle) Parrott; her nephew, whom she considered her son, Russell (Jennifer) Linton; her grandchildren, Haylee (Tyler) DeBord, Kelsie (Thomas) Smith, Makensie (Mac Jr.) Johnson, Dalton Parrott, and Siera, Emily, and Garrett Linton; and her great-grandchildren, Brantlee and Hagan Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers, Buddy and Billy Linton. Additional survivors include her nieces, LouAnna Jordan-Coleman, LaGaye Carver, Laura Linton, and Kayla Linton; her nephews, Butch Jordan and Matt Linton; her cousins, Diane (Tommy) Brown, Shannon Brown, and Kristen (Kevin) Kiley; and other great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Patricia Alberta Linton Fuller will be held at Watson-Milton Funeral Home in Trenton, Florida, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will begin 30 minutes prior to the service.
Bert will be remembered for her dedication, laughter, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
