Patricia Ann Calonge

Our loving mom, Patricia Ann Calonge, 80, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. She married the love of her life at the age of 19. She had 6 beautiful children and loved them with all her heart. She was a dedicated wife and mother, working alongside her husband for many years at their auto body shop and wrecker service in Tampa, FL while also taking care of their children. They moved to Trenton, FL in 1984 for a slower pace of life. They wanted to enjoy spending time with their children as much as possible. Family was everything to them. She worked at Bethel Baptist Church as the secretary for several years then at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida as a claims processer and eventually retired from there. She loved the Florida Gators, pro football, and Jesus. Her hobbies were quilting and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years of marriage, Gilbert Calonge, her daughter, Rebecca Calonge, her son, Gilbert Calonge, Jr., daughter-in-law, Rosemary Calonge, her three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children, Jeannie Wheaton (Sam) of Lutz, FL; Virgina Gamble (Jack) of Chiefland, FL; Jennifer Marshall of Spring Hill, FL; and Johnny Calonge, of Homosassa, FL; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor Patricia will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family invites friends for a visitation 1 hour prior at 12:00 PM.
