Morgan Rayne Davis

Morgan Rayne Davis, 15, of Fanning Springs, FL, passed away on February 6, 2024, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. Morgan was born on July 19, 2008, in Gainesville and grew up in Dixie county. The family moved to Gilchrist county in 2018 and Morgan attended Gilchrist county schools. She was currently a freshman at Trenton High School where she really enjoyed Mr. Owens’ construction courses. She was a well rounded girl who loved being outdoors, target practicing, riding 4-wheelers, hunting, but also loved to dress up and do her makeup and be a princess. She enjoyed doing her sisters makeup as well as painting dad’s toenails and putting eyelashes on mom. Morgan was a foodie especially when it came to junk food and spicy food. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Pattie and Papa Glen.

Morgan is survived by her mom and dad, Courtney Davis and Steven Rice of Trenton; her siblings, Macey Crawford, Marlie Davis, and Colter Rice all of Trenton; grandmother, Linda Rice of Chiefland; aunts, Danielle (Jerry) Antoine of Port Orange and Trayce O’Brien of Horseshoe; she’s also survived by Kevin Davis; numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

A celebration of Morgan’s life will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 1:00 pm at Watson-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton. 352-463-8888. www.WatsonMilton.com
