Missouri Lee Walker Williams, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2026, at Haven Hospice in Chiefland, Florida. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Missouri was born on December 6, 1943, in her family home in Hardeetown, where she spent her childhood and grew up surrounded by the people and places that shaped her life.

Missouri was a devoted homemaker who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a special love for her jewelry and fingernail polish, enjoyed sharing a good meal, and, most of all, cherished spending precious time with her grandchildren. Her family was an important part of her life, and the memories she created with those she loved will continue to be treasured for years to come.

She leaves behind her four beloved children: Thomas Lee Collins, David Nathaniel Collins, Billy Jack Gourley (Peggy), and Vicki Lynn Gourley Sparks (Timothy). She was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Missouri was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sudie Walker; her brothers, John Henry Walker and Robert Thomas Walker; her sister, Emmer Lee Weeks; and her grandson, JD Gourley.

Though Missouri will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the generations of family she leaves behind. Her love, her unique personality, and the special moments shared with her will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 12:00pm at the Haven Hospice Community Building in Chiefland, Fl to celebrate the life of Missouri Williams.
