Lawson James Certain

Lawson James Certain “Bubba” joined the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL. Born November 26, 2011 to Kenneth James Certain Jr. and Nicole Rain. “Bubba” a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Throughout his years on this earth, Lawson has touched the lives of everyone around him, he was a light and the lord shined through him always. Lawson has not only made his families faith in God stronger, but his testimony alone has led more than dozens to the Lord. Lawson's life here was nothing short of a blessing. He is loved beyond measure by everyone who's ever had the privilege of meeting him. Lawson will live forever through his testimony that his family will forever share.

 

He is preceded in death by MamaNet and Daddy Gerald (Janet and Gerald Smith), James Pop pop and Therese Certain, Great Grandpa William Herbert Rain Sr., and Lillian Ward.

 

Family members that live on to honor Lawson; his parents Kenneth (Jenna) Certain and Nicole (Jesse) Hoover; his siblings Kenzie Certain, Case Hoover, Swayze Hoover, Sheldon Hoover, Adler Hoover, Judson Hoover, Kimberland Hoover, Jeremiah French, Jacob French, Trayce French and Kason Bates; Paternal grandparents Billy and Terry Dees and Kenneth Certain Sr., Maternal grandparents; Herbie and Angie Rain and Great Grandmother, Mary Rain. Aunts and Uncles; Kerrie Rain, Eric (Andria) Rain, David Certain, Jody Certain, as well as many cousins. Great Aunts and Uncles: Lisa (Charlie) Burgin and Gennifer Harvey, along with many other family and loved ones that adored him.
