Joe Siler

February 5, 1948 — December 28, 2025

Joe Larry Siler, 77, of Ridgeville, South Carolina, entered his eternal rest after a life defined by faith, family, and service on December 28, 2025. Born February 5, 1948, in Belle Glade, Florida, Joe was the son of Wymer Siler, Jr. and Valentine Davis.

For 52 years, Joe shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Jennie Faye (Cross). Together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and the kind of love that endures through every season. Their life together was a testament to commitment, partnership, and the quiet joy of simply being present for one another.

Joe is survived by his wife, Jennie Faye; his children Christopher (Christine), Joseph (Tara), and Amy (Kia); grandchildren Miya (Jesus), Hannah (Beau), Syanne, Cail, and Erik; and great‑grandson Alexander. He is also survived by his brother Wendall and sister Gale (John). He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley.

A proud patriot at heart, Joe served honorably in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. His love for his country was sincere and enduring.

In 1980, Joe surrendered to the ministry, answering God’s call with humility and devotion. Over the years he faithfully pastored several congregations, including Faith Baptist Church in Bell, Florida; Cypress Creek Baptist Church in Kinard, Florida; and Magnolia Baptist Church in Branford, Florida. Joe’s faith was the foundation of his life. His sermons were heartfelt, his prayers sincere, and his care for his church families unwavering. Beyond his ministry, Joe worked in the marine industry for more than 35 years.

Those who knew Joe will remember his sense of humor, his gentle smile, and his habit of putting others before himself. His life was a living example of service—service to his faith, to his loved ones, to his country, and to the values he held dear. His impact endures—woven into the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
