Jeannie Mae Joiner, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida, at the age of 59. Jeannie was born on January 10, 1966, in Luverne, Alabama.
Jeannie devoted her life to caring for others. As a mother and grandmother, she poured her heart into her family, offering unconditional love and patience. Her gentle spirit and loving nature were felt by all who knew her. Jeannie had a rare and beautiful gift: she made everyone around her feel important, seen, and deeply valued.
Her generosity extended far beyond her family. Jeannie was an active volunteer in her community and took great pride in supporting local schools, including her involvement with the PTA. She was also a familiar and enthusiastic presence at local sporting events, always cheering loudly and proudly for the teams and the young people she so strongly believed in.
Jeannie found joy in life’s simple pleasures and shared adventures. She loved fishing, visiting theme parks, and exploring new places with her family, creating cherished memories that will be held close forever. A devoted Christian, Jeannie drew great comfort and strength from her faith, which guided her life and sustained her through every season.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her husband William Joiner Sr, and her mother, Shirley Ann Baker.
Jeannie is survived by her children, Missy Joiner, Bubba Joiner, William Joiner and Jeannetta Joiner, and her grandchildren, Liam, Reid and Isaac Joiner
