Jarrod Langford

Amory “Jarrod” Langford, 38, of Trenton, FL, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2023, doing something he loved, working. Born on July 30, 1985, to Terrell and Lynette (Mims) Langford, Jarrod was a lifelong resident of Trenton. While in school, he enjoyed playing baseball, football, and FFA. He graduated from Trenton High School in 2003 and began taking college classes before the construction boom enticed him to open his own masonry business in 2004. After a few years, Jarrod found his true passion as a welder. He joined the boilermakers local 433 out of Tampa and traveled the country working with Chattanooga Boiler and Tank. A few years ago, he moved back home and began working for himself, primarily contracting for Southeast Seed. When Jarrod wasn’t working, you could find him in the woods. He loved all types of hunting; running dogs, still hunting, and turkey hunting. He was a proud member of Ray’s Sawmill Hunting Club. Above all, Jarrod loved his family and will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emory and Geneva Langford.

Jarrod is survived by his parents, Terrell and Lynette Langford of Trenton; brother, Myles Langford of Trenton; nephew, Rowels Langford of Trenton; grandparents, AJ and Betrenda (Brookins) Mims of Trenton; former wife and stepdaughter, Ashley Morgan and Kynleigh Bayless; and his girlfriend, Tara Hassell of Williston; countless extended family and friends.

A funeral to honor Jarrod’s life will he held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Union Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the church.
