Mrs. Glorine Collins Sanders, age 92, of Bell, FL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2024, at the Haven Hospice in Chiefland, FL. She was born on June 13, 1931, in Hildreth, FL, to Josh and Lizzy Collins. Mrs. Glorine grew up in the Branford area and was a 1949 graduate of Branford High School. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Marvin Sanders. The couple lived in Atlanta for a year while Marvin was serving in the Army then moved to Bell and made that their home. She was a dedicated employee at the Bell High School for over 25 years, serving in many capacities. Mrs. Glorine enjoyed watching birds, cooking, housekeeping, and traveling with Roses’s Classic Tours. She was a member of Bell Baptist Church where she played piano for many years and was a faithful deacon’s wife for almost 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Marvin; both parents, Josh and Lizzy; and her sister, Geneva Beyer.
Mrs. Glorine is survived by her son, Gary Sanders of Bell, and her daughter, Christie (John) Webster of Bell; her grandchildren, JoLee White of Bell, Fran Coarsey of Bell, Eddie (Erica) Coarsey of Utah, and John (Kris) Webster, II, of Cooper City, FL; her great-grandchildren, Bryce Denham, KyLee and Kenzley Coarsey, Emily and Holly Webster, Layne White, and Brooklyn Coarsey; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.
A funeral to honor Mrs. Glorine’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 26, at 10:00 am at the Watson-Milton Funeral Home in Trenton with Bro. Paul Watson and Bro. Derek Lee officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 9:30 am at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Marvin, at Bell Cemetery.
