Gayle Janet Bergman

Gayle Janet Bergman, born on July 7, 1933, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, was a remarkable individual whose life was defined by her unwavering work ethic, kind-hearted nature, and the positive impact she had on those around her. Gayle’s journey on this earth concluded on December 4, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories for her family and friends.

A graduate of Tripoli High School, Gayle embarked on various career paths throughout her life, dedicating herself to positions in office work, housekeeping and manufacturing. Her perseverance and commitment to her jobs not only showcased her strong character but also benefited many within her community. Gayle's helpful nature was a hallmark of her personality, endearing her to all fortunate enough to cross her path.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Gayle found joy in activities such as gardening and going to rummage sales. Her love for reading also provided her with countless hours of enjoyment and knowledge. These hobbies illustrated her multifaceted interests and contributed to the vibrant spirit that she exuded.

Gayle is survived by her beloved children, Tamara Bratkowski, Craig Bergman, and Michelle Clements; her grandchildren, Nathan Bratkowski and Derek Bratkowski and sister Sandi Nord. A special friendship with Joseph Miller added depth to her later years. The warmth of her spirit will be carried on by her numerous extended family and friends who treasure their time spent with her.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Orville Bergman; her parents; her sister, Virginia Nord; and her daughter, Melinda Bergman. Their memories remain intertwined with hers, a testament to the love and bonds shared over the years.

Gayle Janet Bergman will be remembered not only for her dedication and hard work but also for her innate kindness and uplifting presence. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the reminder that genuine compassion makes a profound difference in the lives of others.
