Frances Vinton

Frances Maureen Vinton, 83, passed surrounded by loved ones on May 16th, 2025. Maureen was born November 3, 1941 in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in South Boston. She spent most of her life in Pembroke. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Vinton, whom she loved ever so dearly; as well as her parents. She is survived by her children Debra Smith, Steven Dillon and wife Deborah Dillon. Mark Dillon, Pamela Wakstein and husband Jason Ingargiola, and Leonard Vinton Jr. as well as her brother Robert Austin and wife Marjorie Austin. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many other family members.

Maureen was a woman of God who would do anything for her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She had many life long friends. Maureen had a great love for the arts, traveling, and running. Her love for the beach and beautiful sunsets led to her spending her last few years in Cedar Key, Florida. A Celebration of Maureen's life will be held there in October. Details will be released at a later date. Watson-Milton Funeral Home is honored to assist her family during this time.
