Elmer Wayne Bishop

Elmer “Wayne” Bishop, 72 years of age, of Bell, FL, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at home. He was born on August 24, 1944 to Elmer and Hazel Bishop in Lexington, KY and had been a resident of Bell since moving from High Springs 5 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator before retiring. Mr. Bishop is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Grace Bishop of Bell; his daughters, Jacqueline (Curtis) Brooks of High Springs and Jennifer Bishop of Gainesville and his son, Jeffery Bishop of LA. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Brittany Sheffield, Matthew Brooks and Aaron Yopp-Bishop and his two great-grandchildren, Jordyn and Rhett Sheffield. No services are planned at this time.
