Edward Robinson

Edward Gene “Eddie” Robinson, 60, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Chiefland, Florida. He was born on July 30, 1965, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Eddie was a patient, kind, and very reserved man with a dry sense of humor that those closest to him appreciated most. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially sitting at his bar listening to music and unwinding after a long day. He was rarely idle and was always working with his hands, fixing, building, or finding something that needed to be done.

As a father, Eddie was hardworking, devoted, and deeply loving. He led by example and showed his love through dedication and quiet support. As a grandfather, he found great joy in spoiling his grandkids. He loved taking them to the fair, and with Grandpa, they could get away with just about anything. He never seemed to tell them “no.”

He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, shooting in his spare time, and putting together detailed models of motorcycles, planes, and boats.

Eddie is preceded in death by his father, James Robinson; his grandparents, Floyd and Edna Robinson; and his uncle, Tom Robinson.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife Phyllis Robinson; his sons, Jonathan (Lindsay) Robinson and Jacob (Ashley) Robinson; his grandchildren, Olivia, Parker, Nathan, and Allison; his brother, Jon (Toni) Robinson; He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him

A Memorial Service for Eddie will be held on Saturday, March, 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton. Family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
