Earl Thomas Connella Jr. (Tom), was born in Alexandria, LA, on 12/10/33 to Earl T. Connella, Sr. and Mary Lily Smith. His life began on a family farm alongside his older sister, Marylee, and his two younger brothers, Genie, and Bootsie.

Over the course of 92 years, he served in the US Navy and retired from a career with the Telephone Co. However, for those who knew him his passion for the outdoors made him legendary as both a hunter and fisherman. Tom passed away peacefully on 5/16/26. He is survived by his children and their spouses: Tammy and Dale, Melody and Chris, Shary, Tommy and Rhonda, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren:

Tom was laid to rest last week following a private graveside service. A memorial service to honor Earl was held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Bell Cemetery in Bell Fl at 9:00AM. Watson-Milton Funeral Home is honored to assist the Connella family during this time.
