A devoted family man, Donald was known for his caring nature and willingness to support anyone in need. He had a unique ability to listen and lend his shoulder to those who required comfort, making an indelible mark on the lives of many.His educational journey led him to study theology, where he earned a certificate in Bible study, reflecting his deep faith and commitment to understanding and sharing spiritual wisdom. Donald's faith was a foundational element of his life, informing both his actions and interactions with others.

An accomplished musician, Donald had a passion for playing the guitar and creating original music, which infused his life with joy and creativity. He was also an avid poet, expressing his experiences and reflections through words, particularly about the significance of fatherhood. In addition to his artistic talents, Donald enjoyed working with his hands, particularly in woodworking, where he found satisfaction in crafting beautiful pieces with care and skill.

Donald was a loyal fan of Florida Gator football, relishing the excitement of game days and sharing that enthusiasm with family and friends. His zest for life and the moments shared with loved ones were evident in everything he did.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Foster of Bell, Florida; his daughter, Tangenelle (Curtis) Gambrel of Ohio; and step-son Christopher (Amanda) Gowder of Orlando, Florida. Also left to cherish his memory are his step-daughter Stephanie Gowder of Riverview, Florida, along with many sisters and brothers.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Vivian (Thompson) Foster, who welcomed him into the world and paved the way for the compassionate, creative spirit he became. His legacy of love, music, and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
