Dolores Nazelrod

Dolores Nazelrod, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on September 17, 1932, in Turner-Douglass, West Virginia, Dolores was known for her gentle and kind spirit, a trait she embodied effortlessly throughout her life.

For over 30 years, Dolores was a dedicated member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where her warmth and compassion left a lasting impression on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Nazelrod.

She is survived by her children, Denver (Brenda) Nazelrod of Chiefland, Florida, Darin (Karen) of Oakland, Maryland, and Denise (Eric) Sines of Oakland, Maryland. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, with playing a significant role in the life of her granddaughter Heather Nazelrod Hensley of Keyser, West Virginia, whom Ms. Dolores raised.
