Buford Langford

Buford Odie Langford Jr., more lovingly known as “Buie,” passed away on February 17, 2026, in Trenton, Florida, at the age of 52. Born on March 9, 1973, in Gainesville, Florida, Buie was the cherished son of Buford Langford Sr. and Teressa Langford.

Buie was the kind of man who never met a stranger. Fun-loving, easygoing, and truly kind-hearted, he carried a heart of gold and a giving spirit that touched everyone he met. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Buie had a deep passion for the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, and few things brought him more happiness than time spent on his airboat or working on the farm. As a dedicated watermelon farmer, he took great pride in farming and the simple, honest life it provided. The fields, the gulf, and wide-open Florida skies were where he felt most at home.

He was preceded in death by his Aunt Charlene Caraway; his grandparents, Odie and Cora Langford; and Clarence Roberts Cogdill.

Buie is survived by his son Hunter Langford; granddaughter, Juniper; his loving parents, Buford Langford Sr. and Teressa Langford; his sister, Kimberly Langford; his nieces, Blu Bailey and Briar Rose Langford; and numerous other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
