Bob Bray

October 6, 1958 — March 25, 2026

Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice for Bob Bray is with the LORD in heaven where there is no pain, no suffering, no sickness, no evil — where he is experiencing perfect love, joy, peace, happiness, and many more good things — Hallelujah. We believe this to be true because he said that he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, but to make sure, Matthew (one of his children) recently asked him if he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and he said "Yes;" and another one of his children asked him three times if he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he said "Yes" and nodded "Yes" the other two times — Hallelujah, Thanks, Praise, Honor, Glory, Worship Be To The LORD. Knowing, Confessing, Believing on Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior is the most important thing of all for anyone to do; if you haven't, please don't wait, please confess with your mouth Jesus Christ as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and Jesus Christ's payment for your sins will be applied to you, you shall be saved based on Romans 10:9-10 & John 3:16-17 in God's Bible.

Here's some more great things about Bob:

He was a very hard working man, he did his best to do whatever job he did as well as he could. He loved family, learning about our family's history, collecting family photos, telling family stories, and spending time with relatives. He loved practicing and teaching martial arts, going to theme parks, the thrill from riding roller coasters. He loved cookouts at the springs, swimming, playing volleyball. He was very competitive, he loved to compete. He really liked watching movies, sports, and the Olympics. He really liked listening to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson as he was growing up. He liked to laugh, listen to and watch funny stories and things. He was a good disco dancer. He was outgoing and left a good impression on many people.

He loved to tell people about the three miracles God did for him and he gave God the glory for the miracles He did for him.

He loved Rita (his wife of 45 years) and his children (Johnathan, Tiffany, Lucas (aka LB), Matthew, Wilburn (Tooly), and Noel) very much and they loved him very much. He also loved his brother (Joe) and sisters (Martha, Sheila) and stepsisters who he considered sisters (Jackie, Julana, Debbie, & Judy), and his dad (Willie) and mom (Marie) and stepmother (Edna) and his stepfather (Everitt) and relatives, friends, and everyone. If you would like to know more about Bob, all you have to do is ask his wife, children, family members, relatives, and others.

Even though Bob is in heaven, he will be deeply missed by his wife, children, family members, relatives, and many others.

Lucas (LB) wrote something concerning his dad and family that touched his family members hearts:

In Loving Memory [of Bob Bray]

We remember a man who lived a complicated and deeply human life—one marked by both struggle and strength.

He carried burdens that were not always seen. From a young age, he endured things that left lasting marks on his mind, heart, and spirit. He did not always have the tools or the peace to fully heal from them, and those struggles followed him throughout his life.

He was not a perfect man. He had flaws, kept secrets, and at times distanced himself from the people who loved him. There were wounds—both his own and those felt by others—that remained unresolved. And yet, that is not the whole of who he was.

He was also a man who helped people when he could. He had a hands-on spirit—someone who could fix things, work on vehicles, and step in when something needed to be done. He had a sense of adventure and a desire for something more out of life—something free, meaningful, and real.

Though he often kept to himself and didn’t always express what he was going through, he carried more than most ever knew. He longed, in his own way, for peace—faith, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

His life reminds us that some battles are invisible, and some pain runs deep. We are left with both love and questions, with memories that are not simple—but real.

In faith, we trust that God sees the full story—the pain, the struggle, the effort, and the heart beneath it all. As Scripture reminds us:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

We release him into God’s mercy and grace, believing that where there was struggle, there is now peace.

For those he leaves behind—family, friends, and all who cared—please hear this: You were not the cause of his pain, and you were not the cure for it. You loved him with what you knew, with what you had, and in the moments you were given. His struggles were deeper and more complex than any one person could carry or fix. Let go of the weight of “what if” and “if only.” Hold instead to the truth that he was loved—by you—and that love mattered. Let that be where healing begins.
