Betty Ann Horne

Mrs. Betty Ann (Bass) Horne, age 84, of Trenton, FL, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2022 at the Chiefland Haven Hospice. She was born on February 21, 1938, in Bell, to the late John Offie and Julia (Sapp) Bass. She was a life long resident of Gilchrist County and a graduate of Bell High School. Mrs. Horne was a loving and talented homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, and sewing, but most importantly, raised her children and loved being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Horne, her son, David F. Horne, Jr; and her siblings, LE Bass, RB Bass, Lois Hodge, Ann Beasley, Linberg Bass, and Mason Bass.

Mrs. Horne is survived by her children, Jeanne (Marvin) Hassell of Trenton, Minnie (Wayne) Stalvey of Trenton, Vickie (Perry) Brown of Panama City, Faye (Marty) Harding of Trenton, Sim (Darlene) Grimes of PA, and Kevin (Susan) Jardaneh of Orlando; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a host of extended family also survive.
