Berry Cannon, age 72, passed away on June 25, 2026, in Chiefland, Florida. He was born on December 16, 1953, in Williston, Florida, to Horace Cannon and Millie Cannon (Cobb).
Berry was the fifth of six children and grew up working on the family farm, where he developed the strong work ethic and love of the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life. He worked in the Logging industry and for WBT in Cross City.
Berry was a devoted father who cherished his family above all else. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, where he felt most at home.
Berry will be remembered for his hardworking character, his love for his family, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Berry is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Millie Cannon; and his siblings, Herman Cannon, Robert Cannon, Horace Cannon Jr, Lloyd Cannon and Sandra Qunicey.
Berry is survived by his children Barry (Lanie) Cannon, Amanda Cannon, and Jeremy Cannon; his grandchildren, Cassidy (Daniel) Nelson, Kaleigh Cannon, Chloe Cannon, Cayla Cannon, Kenzi Cannon, Laila Ingram, Aaron Forshee, Justice Guyton, Evea Cannon and Great Grandson River Nelson.
A memorial service for Berry will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Watson-Milton Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 4:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton.
