Arthur Lee Jones, 71, of Trenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, at UF Health Shands Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on March 2, 1955, in Broward County, Florida, Arthur was the son of Thomas Wadson Jones and Bernice Virginia Hammond Jones. He lived a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and kindness.
Arthur was a skilled mechanic who was proudly self-employed for many years. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
A faithful member of Trenton Church of Christ, Arthur's faith guided the way he lived each day. He was known for his warm smile, infectious laugh, and the remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. He truly never met a stranger. His home was always open, and he lovingly cared for any child who walked through his door as if they were his own.
On January 11, 2003, Arthur married the love of his life, Donna Stanick Jones. Together they shared 24 wonderful years of love, friendship, and cherished memories.
Arthur found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved fishing, traveling, attending races, and spending time with family. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. His family will forever smile when remembering his wonderful sense of humor—including the affectionate joke that he was a "terrible driver."
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Stanick Jones; his children, Thomas (Gloria) Jones, David (Kristen) Jones, Michael (Keelee Jones, Arthur Jones Jr., Heather Jones, Tammy Jones, Andrea (Zach) Lincoln, and Katelyn Jones; his brother, Bill Jones; his sister, Nettie Moxley; his cousin, Debbie Hammond; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Arthur's life was a beautiful example of love, generosity, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. His kindness touched countless lives, and his legacy will continue through the many people he welcomed, encouraged, and loved. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
